Business Analyst - Payroll

- Gather, analyse and document business and payroll requirements
- Facilitate workshops with Payroll, HR, Technology and business stakeholders
- Analyse current-state payroll processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support payroll system consolidation activities and business process alignment
- Develop and maintain data mapping documentation for payroll data migration
- Assist with payroll data validation and reconciliation activities
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and payroll parallel runs
- Create test scenarios, test cases and support defect management activities
- Partner with payroll SMEs to ensure payroll calculations and employee data are accurately migrated
- Manage stakeholder expectations across multiple business entities and workstreams
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering payroll transformation, implementation, or consolidation initiatives
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP Payroll and payroll operations
- Experience working across complex, multi-entity or shared-services environments
- Proven ability to gather and document business requirements, facilitate workshops, and map business processes
- Strong experience supporting data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation
- Hands-on experience coordinating and supporting UAT, system testing, and defect management
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively across Payroll, HR, Technology, and business teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working with HRIS platforms
- Exposure to SAP HCM environments
- Previous involvement in large-scale HR, Payroll, ERP, or business transformation programs
- Deep understanding of payroll compliance, employee awards, deductions, leave management, and payroll governance
- Experience supporting payroll parallel runs and go-live activities

About the Role
As the Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a central role in bridging business and technology teams, supporting the successful consolidation of payroll processes, systems and data into a single SAP Payroll instance.
You'll be deeply involved in requirements gathering, process analysis, data migration, testing and stakeholder engagement, ensuring payroll operations continue to run accurately and efficiently throughout the transformation journey.
