AWS Cloud Security Engineer (AI)

Your new role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help build, automate and secure next-generation AI platforms across AWS and Azure. Working closely with cloud, security and engineering teams, you will:

• Build and improve secure cloud environments across AWS and Azure
• Support the secure adoption of AI platforms, including Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI Services and Azure OpenAI
• Develop automation using Python, PowerShell or Bash
• Build security controls using Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure Bicep
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Automate security monitoring, compliance reporting and remediation
• Protect AI models, prompts, training data and sensitive information
• Conduct threat modelling and security assessments for cloud and AI workloads
• Identify and respond to cloud security threats, vulnerabilities and incidents
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security throughout the delivery process

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, cyber security engineering or a related role
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure
• Experience securing cloud-native and enterprise-scale environments
• Practical experience with Amazon Bedrock and generative AI security controls
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or Bash
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure Bicep
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Experience with cloud security monitoring and workload protection tools
• Strong knowledge of security automation, threat modelling and vulnerability management
• An engineering-focused mindset with a passion for building solutions, writing automation and solving complex technical challenges
