Based full-time on site, you’ll help keep day-to-day activities organised, connected and moving, coordinating contractors, deliveries, site access, documentation, materials and general project support.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, builds strong working relationships and takes pride in making sure the details are taken care of.

About the project

The GEGHA Project is a green hydrogen and ammonia production facility under construction near Moree, around 30 kilometres west of town. The project will support regional jobs and local production of lower-carbon fuel and fertiliser, helping strengthen supply resilience and reduce emissions across agriculture and heavy transport.

The site is located adjacent to the Sundown Wathagar Cotton Gin.

Local and regional applicants are encouraged to apply, accommodation in Moree may be available for the right person.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Project Controls Lead, you will:

  • Act as a key day-to-day on-site contact for contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate site access, inductions, visitors, deliveries, traffic movements and general site logistics.
  • Support the Project Manager and Project Engineer with daily site coordination and follow-up.
  • Maintain site diaries, workforce records, registers, permits, training records and project documentation.
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, tracking and handover of materials, equipment, spare parts and consumables.
  • Assist with purchase orders, goods receipting and supplier coordination.
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes and track actions.
  • Support site inspections, audits, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
  • Help promote a proactive safety culture and support HSEQ reporting, audits and compliance activities.
  • Keep the project team informed about site progress, deliveries, risks, issues and emerging requirements.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with:

  • At least three years’ experience in administration, site coordination or a similar role, ideally within construction, energy or infrastructure.
  • Strong organisational, document control and reporting skills.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced site environment with multiple contractors and competing priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; SharePoint experience would be useful.
  • A current driver licence.
  • A NSW or nationally recognised Construction White Card.
  • Awareness of NSW work health and safety requirements.
  • A High Risk Work Licence (LF) for forklift use.

You’ll be reliable, self-managing and comfortable working with a wide range of people. Most importantly, you’ll take ownership, follow through and contribute positively to a safe and collaborative project environment.
