6 Month Contact role - Commercial Finance Partner

Office located in Eagle Farm, Brisbane. 6 month contract opportunity.

About the role

• FP&A & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, quarterly re-forecasting, and long-term planning across sites.
• Profitability Analysis: Perform variance analysis down to EBIT to track key business drivers and risks.
• Commercial & Pricing Support: Partner with Sales and Ops to analyse contract profitability and optimise deal structures.
• Cost Management: Oversee fixed costs, subcontractor spend, materials, and expenditure against budget.
• Month-End Governance: Conduct financial reviews, post revenue/warranty journals, and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Business Partnering: Drive financial insights in operational strategy.
• CapEx Management: Manage capital expenditure budgeting, approval workflows, and asset capitalisation.

About you

• CPA, CA, CIMA or similar
• 5 + years post qualification experience in a Business Partnering role
• SAP system knowledge
• Excel modelling experience
• Power BI/ Power Query/ Power Automate experience advantageous
