Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Lawyer to join their Darwin office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside highly regarded legal professionals while advising a diverse client base that spans businesses, investors, government entities, and private clients across the Northern Territory.

As a key member of the team, you will provide practical, commercial legal advice on a broad range of matters while building strong client relationships and contributing to the firm's continued success.

The Opportunity

You will work across a variety of commercial matters, including:

• Commercial contracts and agreements
• Business sales and acquisitions
• Corporate and business structuring
• Property and development transactions
• Leasing and commercial property matters
• Due diligence and transactional support
• General commercial advisory work
• Client relationship management and business development

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Admission as a legal practitioner in Australia
• Experience practicing in commercial law (ideally 2+ years PAE, although all suitable applicants will be considered)
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills
• A commercial mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• The ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within a team
• A commitment to delivering exceptional client service
