Responsibilities:
- Craft a variety of chocolate products, including truffles, bars, and pralines, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Experiment with flavours and techniques to develop new chocolate recipes and products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the chocolate production area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the catering team to create bespoke chocolate items for events and special occasions.
- Manage inventory of chocolate ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with clients to understand their preferences and offering recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a chocolatier or in a similar role within the hospitality and catering industry.
- A strong understanding of chocolate tempering and moulding techniques.
- Creativity and a passion for chocolate, with the ability to innovate and develop new products.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality confections.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Basic food hygiene certification is preferred.
