Summary:

As a Chocolatier in the hospitality and catering industry, you will play a vital role in creating exquisite chocolate confections that delight our customers. Responsibilities:

  • Craft a variety of chocolate products, including truffles, bars, and pralines, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Experiment with flavours and techniques to develop new chocolate recipes and products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the chocolate production area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to create bespoke chocolate items for events and special occasions.
  • Manage inventory of chocolate ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with clients to understand their preferences and offering recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a chocolatier or in a similar role within the hospitality and catering industry.
  • A strong understanding of chocolate tempering and moulding techniques.
  • Creativity and a passion for chocolate, with the ability to innovate and develop new products.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality confections.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic food hygiene certification is preferred.
