Payroll Manager
Payroll
Job Description
Are you an experienced Payroll Manager who loves leading a team, developing people, and delivering a high-quality payroll service, but would prefer not to be burdened with countless Payroll Projects?
This is an opportunity to join a successful and growing national business where your primary focus will be ensuring payroll operations run smoothly, accurately, and compliantly. Rather than leading large transformation projects, you'll spend your time supporting and mentoring your team, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring payroll best practice across the organisation.
Leading a motivated payroll team, you will oversee the end-to-end payroll function of circa 3,500 weekly paid employees, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with all legislative and reporting obligations.
You'll play a hands-on leadership role, coaching team members, developing capability, improving processes where required, and providing guidance on complex payroll matters.
