An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Building Manager to take ownership of a prestigious residential building in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

This is aboutique single-strata-plan building comprising approximately 90 lots, with a high-quality resident profile and beautifully maintained common areas. The role would suit a Building Manager who takes pride in presentation, service and building operations and enjoys working within a well-run, premium environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and presentation of the building, working closely with the Owners Corporation and key contractors to ensure the property is maintained to an exceptionally high standard.

The building also has a number of  significant projects underway , including  waterproofing and cladding works , making this an excellent opportunity for a Building Manager with strong project coordination and contractor management experience.

A strong understanding of  Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS) and essential services compliance is also highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day management of the building and common areas
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation across the property
• Managing contractors, maintenance and service providers
• Responding to resident and committee enquiries
• Coordinating repairs, maintenance and ongoing building works
• Conducting regular inspections of the property
• Monitoring building services and essential services
• Assisting with budgets, quotes and maintenance planning
• Working closely with the Strata Manager and Owners Corporation
• Ensuring WHS, compliance and building requirements are maintained
• Building strong relationships with residents, contractors and stakeholders

About You

We are looking for a professional and experienced Building Manager who understands the expectations that come with managing a  premium residential property .
You will ideally have:

• 3–4+ years' Building Management experience
• Strong knowledge of residential building operations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A high level of attention to detail and presentation
• The ability to manage contractors and maintenance effectively
• Confidence dealing with Owners Corporations and committees
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• A professional, polished and customer-focused manner
