A respected independent Kindergarten to Year 12 school in Perth's southern suburbs is seeking a full time Secondary Maths Teacher to join its team from the beginning of the 2027 school year.

This opportunity would suit an experienced educator or a graduate teacher eager to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for delivering engaging Mathematics programs to students in Years 7 to 10, encouraging curiosity, confidence and strong numeracy skills while helping students achieve their academic potential.

Working within a welcoming faculty, you will contribute to a positive learning culture where students are known, supported and encouraged to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Years 7 to 10.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful and well managed classroom environment.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Monitor student achievement and provide timely assessment and feedback in line with SCSA requirements.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

About You

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• Relevant teaching qualifications and current TRBWA registration, or eligibility to obtain registration.
• A current Working with Children Check.
• Knowledge of the Western Australian curriculum and contemporary teaching practices.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to ongoing professional growth.
• An appreciation for working within a values based educational environment.
• Full Australian work rights.
