We are partnering with a well-established, internationally recognised pump manufacturer that is continuing to expand its presence across Western Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Business Development Manager to take ownership of a high-value territory covering the East Coast and Pilbara, working with key clients across mining, mineral processing and heavy industry.

About the Role

  • Own and grow a high-value WA territory, with a strong Pilbara focus
  • Drive pump sales, service agreements and aftermarket opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with mining and mineral processing clients
  • Leverage your Pilbara network or technical sales experience across pumps, valves, conveyors or wear parts
  • Travel 10+ days per month across WA, with a clear pathway to State Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan across WA, with a strong Pilbara focus
  • Drive new pump sales to mining and industrial end users
  • Identify and grow service agreements and aftermarket opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Travel regularly across the assigned territory

About You

  • Proven BDM or sales experience within mining, industrial or heavy equipment
  • Experience with pumps, valves, conveyors or wear parts
  • Strong track record selling into mining or mineral processing clients
  • Established Pilbara network highly regarded
  • Mechanical Engineering background preferred but not essential
  • Commercially astute with strong relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven
  • Comfortable with extensive travel across WA (10+ days per month)
