Senior Finance Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Finance Business Analyst to join the Finance Delivery team supporting major bank initiatives. You’ll play a key role in delivering enterprise-wide Finance change, working with diverse stakeholders across the Group.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with stakeholders to define clear business requirements, scope and solution outcomes
• Identify root causes, pain points and key improvement opportunities
• Document and validate Finance requirements across a portfolio of projects
• Use data-driven insights to support solution design, testing and delivery
• Act as a key liaison between Finance, Technology, Business and Risk teams
• Produce high-quality project documents (FRDs, BPS, SOPs etc.)
• Work closely with project and technology teams to ensure solutions meet Finance needs
• Lead testing activities and support training for impacted Finance users
• Oversee implementation and post-implementation activities
• Identify and manage business and project risks
• Support project planning and delivery, removing blockers to ensure value realisation

The successful candidates will be

• Highly driven with strong problem-solving and analytical capability
• Experienced in Finance and Accounting project environments
• Confident communicating with stakeholders across Finance and non-Finance teams
• Comfortable working across different project methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)
• Customer-focused, consultative, and committed to continuous improvement

Knowledge & Experience Required

• CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
• 3–8+ years’ Business Analysis experience
• Experience in Financial Services
• Prior experience in Finance/Accounting functions
• Strong testing experience (scenario development & execution)
• Strong organisational, time management and negotiation skills
• Exposure to Agile delivery and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
