    This contractor delivers small to mid-scale civil projects across Adelaide. They contribute to council, government and developer-led improvements across Adelaide’s public realm and civil infrastructure.

    The business has evolved over the last few years, and are now supporting builders, developers and councils with packages. Growth is driven by repeat clients and a reputation for quality, efficiency and straight communication.

    The Role

    • Preparing estimates for civil construction projects across Adelaide
    • Reviewing drawings, scopes and documentation to identify risk and build methodology
    • Completing take offs and building rates for earthworks, roadworks, stormwater and concrete
    • Liaising with project managers and site teams to align pricing with delivery approach
    • Seeking and assessing subcontractor and supplier pricing where required
    • Reviewing tender documentation and managing clarifications

    The Criteria

    • 2+ years of estimating experience in civil construction and / or council projects (local experience essential)
    • Solid understanding of SA subcontractor markets, pricing, methodologies and tendering expectations
    • Ability to confidently interpret drawings and technical documentation
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
