The role

You will run a full caseload of family law matters from first consultation to final orders, with genuine autonomy over file strategy. Matters include:

• Divorce, separation and de facto disputes
• Property settlements, including complex asset pools, trusts and business interests
• Parenting and child custody matters, including relocation and recovery
• Binding Financial Agreements, consent orders and prenuptial arrangements
• Family violence, urgent applications and domestic violence matters
• Mediation, dispute resolution and court representation in the Federal Circuit and Family Court

You will supervise junior lawyers, contribute to business development, and work alongside Accredited Specialists on complex litigated matters.

What you bring

• 5+ years PAE in family law
• Strong advocacy skills and confidence running matters independently
• Experience across parenting and property, including litigated files
• Accredited Specialist status (or working toward it) highly regarded
• Commercial awareness and a client-first approach
• NSW practising certificate
