Qualitative Data Analyst (APS5/6 Equivalent) – Disability Supports

The Essentials

• Role: 6-month casual contract (up to 37.5 hrs/week) with a possible 18-month extension.
• Locations: Hubs in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, or Sydney.
• Start: Immediate start required.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse: Code and organise structured/unstructured qualitative data using tools like NVivo.
• Discover: Identify themes, mitigate bias, and synthesise findings from public consultations.
• Report: Create punchy summary documents, charts, and visualisations for executive leadership.
• Process: Transcribe audio and video submissions and refine survey content.

What You Bring

• Strong expertise in qualitative research methodologies and thematic analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency in QDA software (NVivo or similar).
• Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
• Highly Desirable: Background in health/disability research or government advisory.
