Job Purpose:

The ITAD Team Lead supports the Manager in delivering high quality ICT asset processing and data sanitisation across a diverse range of assets, maintaining the highest standards of data security where even a single breach could have serious consequences for WV Technologies, our clients, and the public. This role takes on added responsibility in assisting in the supervision and training of new staff as well as the overall organisation, operation, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Success in this role you will see:

• Manual handling of ICT Assets including loading and unloading job lots both small and large in quantity 
• Receiving and Sorting assets using Makor software or similar 
• Use of Data wiping software Blancco or similar, including basic trouble shooting of devices to begin wipe process 
• Auditing of assets to capture specs, functionality, and cosmetic grade 
• Wholesale packing of assets 
• Physical destruction of data bearing devices such as mobile devices, hard drives
• Secure and safe collection of assets from clients 
• Assist in the supervision & training of new staff, inductions, explain and demonstrate duties 
• Assist in the management of the warehouse's organisation, operation, and cleanliness 
• Oversee & quality check the sanitisation & audit of ICT assets 
• Assist where required in weekly toolbox meetings 
• Assist in determining staffing requirements for ITAD activities 
• Liaise with Inbound/Outbound Sales team regarding pipeline/wholesale/retail orders 
• Any other general duties as seen fit by the employer to fulfill the role requirements

General Duties:  

• Contribute to overall company vision and strategy   
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects   
• Comply with all HSEQ company process and policy 
• Work with a range of individuals from skilled technicians to disadvantaged individuals   

Knowledge and Skills:

• Cert III in Information Technology or higher is desirable
• Valid Manual Driver Licence is highly preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
