Senior Civil Engineer / Site Engineer

The Opportunity

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to oversee the site inspections and construction delivery of major land development and subdivision projects across the Wellington region.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on site, working closely with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring residential projects are delivered to the highest standards.

You'll act as the consultant's representative during construction, undertaking site inspections, monitoring project quality, assisting with NZ3910 contract administration, and liaising with developers, contractors and councils and the internal engineering and survey teams.

About You

• Civil Engineering Qualification
• 8+ years exp in land development and civil infrastructure
• Strong construction monitoring and site inspection experience
• Understanding of NZS 3910 contracts, claims and variations
• Experience working for a consultancy and/or civil contractor
• Excellent communication and site management skills
