Parks and gardens worker

A council is seeking a motivated and reliable Parks and Gardens Worker to help maintain and enhance our parks, gardens, sports fields, reserves, and public open spaces. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high-quality green spaces, and is committed to delivering excellent services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain parks, gardens, and public reserves.
• Operate and maintain horticultural equipment, including mowers, whipper snippers, blowers, and small machinery.
• Undertake mowing, edging, pruning, planting, mulching, and weed control.
• Assist with irrigation maintenance and basic landscaping works.
• Carry out litter collection and general cleaning activities.
• Work safely and in accordance with Council policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Experience in parks, gardens, landscaping, or grounds maintenance.

Current C class driver's license.
