Packer/Labourer | Rotational Roster | Full time hours | Loganlea

We are urgently seeking a packer to assist in the fabrication of aluminum sections for doors and windows. We are seeking factory labourers to commence as soon as possible with a highly reputable aluminum extrusion business based in Loganlea.

About the role

This is a workplace focused on safety, training and team culture. We’re seeking a packer/factory labourer to pack and prepare long-length aluminum products for dispatch while ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. You’ll perform tasks such as:

• Packing long lengths of aluminum (up to 15kg) into skips or onto bases for dispatch.
• Shrink-wrapping, stock-taking, RF scanning, and quality-checking to ensure profiles match products.
• Assembling materials into square shapes for dispatch and preparing crates.
• Operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) and forklift for cleating purposes (if licensed).
• Maintaining adherence to safe work procedures, including proper handling, maintenance, and storage of personal protective equipment.

The roster

• Day shifts 5am – 1pm
• Afternoon shifts 1pm – 9pm
• Night shifts 9pm – 5am

Rotational Roster — availability required Monday to Friday.

Key skills
To be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate:

• Previous labouring and packing experience, ideally in a factory environment.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks (training will be provided).
• A willingness to follow instructions and work safely at all times.
• Current forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
• Availability to work day, afternoon and night shifts rostered Monday to Friday.
• Own transport and current driver’s licence due to shift requirements.
• Two contactable references
• Available to commence asap
