Facilities Manager

The Trustee for JNK Family Trust & The Trustee for PGN Family Trust is seeking a motivated and reliable Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and operation of our facilities in Kununurra, WA. This role is responsible for ensuring that all buildings, equipment, and infrastructure are maintained to a high standard while supporting a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the daily operation and maintenance of company facilities.
2. Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance programs.
3. Supervise contractors, service providers, and maintenance personnel.
4. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance and safety issues.
5. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations and relevant legislation.
6. Manage facility budgets, maintenance schedules, and procurement of supplies.
7. Oversee building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, and fire safety equipment.
8. Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare reports as required.
9. Respond promptly to facility emergencies and coordinate repairs.
10. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a Facilities Manager or similar facilities management role.
2. Strong knowledge of building maintenance and facility operations.
3. Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
4. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
7. Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management systems is desirable.
9. A valid driver's licence is preferred.
