About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for a full-time position in  Perth . This role offers the opportunity to teach Years 7–12 English , delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ literacy, writing, language, and analytical skills. You will inspire a love of English, foster critical thinking, and support student growth across all year levels.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver student-centered English lessons for Years 7–12

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support learning

• Integrate technology and contemporary assessment tools into teaching

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum

• Support student wellbeing and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor of Education (English) or equivalent

• Full registration with the relevant WA teaching authority

• Valid Working with Children Check

• Experience teaching Years 7–12 English

• Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills

• Commitment to student development and inclusive education

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other learning management tools
