Communications & Events Manager | Sydney
Lead communications and events for a leading Australian accessories business. 
This is a senior, broad-scope role sitting at the centre of how the business shows up to the world. You'll define the communications strategy, lead PR and media relations, manage internal communications, and plan and deliver a full calendar of brand, trade and consumer events with the support of global agency partners.

What you'll own:

• Manage Communications strategy across external and internal channels
• Manage PR, media relations, agency briefing and share of voice management
• Build and maintain Relationships with media, influencers, PR agencies and brand partners
• Internal communications - executive messaging, newsletters
• Plan and deliver events including product launches, showcases, pop-ups, trade shows and partner/media events, from concept through to
  execution.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, run sheets and on-the-day logistics, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and stakeholders.
• Brief and coordinate external event suppliers, venues and vendors to deliver on-brand experiences.
• Mentoring and developing coordinators within the function
• KPI reporting and stakeholder presentations to the GM Marketing and Digital

What you'll bring:

• Senior experience in communications and/or events — retail, fashion or FMCG preferred
• Strong PR and media relations track record
• Proven ability to deliver events from concept through to post-event evaluation
• Agency, supplier and budget management experience
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• People leadership experience
• Highly organised, solutions-driven and comfortable with autonomy
