We're currently supporting a client in the finance sector seeking an experienced Business Analyst to assist during a critical go-live period across key finance systems, including General Ledger, Planning and Billing platforms.
This role sits within a high-pressure delivery window where legacy and new systems are running in parallel, requiring strong coordination, process clarity, and hands-on business analysis support.
This is a business-focused BA role, not a technical or data-heavy position.
What you'll be doing
You are a practical, hands-on Business Analyst who enjoys working in delivery environments where things are moving quickly and clarity is critical. You're comfortable working across business teams to understand processes, identify issues and ensure smooth transition during system change.
You are not expected to be highly technical - success in this role is about business understanding, communication, and structured thinking during a critical go-live period.
In return, you'll join a high-impact finance systems program during a critical go-live phase, playing a key role in ensuring stability and continuity across core financial processes.
This is a 6 week contract with immediate start for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing
- You will play a key role in supporting go-live readiness and stabilisation activities by:
- Mapping and documenting business processes across finance operations (GL, planning and billing)
- Supporting go-live activities, issue identification and resolution coordination
- Working with business and operational stakeholders to clarify processes and impacts
- Assisting with UAT coordination, test scenario preparation and defect triage
- Documenting workflows, business rules and operational procedures
- Helping ensure continuity of service during parallel run of legacy and new systems
- Supporting stakeholder communications during a critical release period
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in finance or enterprise environments
- Strong background in process mapping, documentation and requirements gathering
- Experience supporting system implementations or go-live / cutover activities
- Exposure to finance processes such as billing, GL or planning systems (advantageous)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, delivery-critical environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to bring structure to complex situations
