Safety Administrator (3-Month Contract)

Are you an organised administrator with an interest in workplace safety? We're seeking a Safety Administrator to join a well-established business for a 3-month temporary assignment based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

This varied role is approximately 80% safety administration and 20% general administration/customer service , making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with documentation while also liaising with customers and internal stakeholders.

About the Role
Working closely with the team, you'll help maintain safety documentation, support compliance activities and assist with customer coordination to ensure servicing schedules run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, update and maintain Risk Assessments (RAs) .
• Manage and update Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) .
• Provide day-to-day safety administration and compliance support.
• Contact customers to coordinate servicing appointments.
• Send follow-up emails and confirm service schedules.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider team.

About You

• Previous administration experience, ideally within safety, construction, manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Preferably Safety qualifications and experience (1 yr+)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Comfortable working with safety documentation such as SWMS and Risk Assessments (desirable).
• Confident communicating with customers via phone and email.
• Able to follow established processes and work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
