Enterprise Architect, Strategy and Cybersecurity

The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of all Victorians. We’re focused on supporting Victorians to be as healthy as they can; whether through alerting them to seasonal risks like thunderstorm asthma, notifying them of contact with communicable diseases, safeguarding their drinking water, developing the best health, wellbeing and care facilities in the world, being at the forefront of mental health and wellbeing treatment or accelerating medical research. The Enterprise Architect applies the department's enterprise architecture direction to support informed decision‑making across initiatives, investments and design activities.

About you:

• Contributes to maintaining coherence across the technology landscape by identifying opportunities for reuse, reducing duplication and architectural debt, and feeding insights from initiatives back into the evolution of enterprise architecture artefacts and standards.
• Tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline is desirable.
• Industry recognised training or certification in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF or equivalent) is desirable.

Specialist Expertise:

Highly refined written, verbal and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to translate complex enterprise-level impacts, risks and dependencies across data, application and infrastructure domains into clear, practical and influential advice for executive audiences.
