Deputy Stipendiary Stewards

Based in Alice Springs

TRNT is responsible for conducting thoroughbred racing in the Northern Territory. The Integrity Department are currently recruiting for suitable people to fulfil the position of Deputy Stewards. There are positions available for applicants residing in Alice Springs.

The positions are part time and require the availability to regularly work at least one day of most weekends and the occasional week day (if available) on a roster basis.

We are looking for applicants that possess

• a genuine interest in the thoroughbred racing industry
• practical handling experience of horses and the ability to learn multiple race day roles
• the demonstrated skills to work in an integrity based role and maintain strict confidentiality
• ability to work as part of a team and carry out instructions with an attention to detail
• a background in racing or regulation related field an advantage
• a National Police Clearance is required
