They are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to support the delivery of their payroll function and provide exceptional service to employees across the business.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager and working within a collaborative payroll team, you will be responsible for:

    • Assisting with the processing of payroll in an accurate and timely manner
    • Processing new starters, terminations and employee payroll changes
    • Responding to payroll enquiries and resolving issues efficiently
    • Maintaining and updating employee payroll records
    • Processing leave, overtime and payroll adjustments
    • Supporting payroll reporting and reconciliation activities
    • Assisting with superannuation and payroll-related deductions
    • Maintaining payroll systems and ensuring data integrity
    • Supporting compliance with payroll legislation, Awards and company policies
    • Assisting with payroll process improvement initiatives
    • Providing administrative support to the wider payroll function as required

    Candidate Profile

    The successful applicant will have proven experience in a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Officer or similar payroll support position along with the following skills and attributes:

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
    • Experience working within a payroll environment
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
    • Strong organisational and administrative skills
    • Confident when dealing with stakeholders at all levels
    • A proactive approach and willingness to learn
    • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
    • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
    • Experience with payroll systems is highly regarded
