Scrub Scout - Operating Theatres - Kogarah

The Role

As a Scrub Scout, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating theatres of the Hospital.

Selection Criteria:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Proven high-level written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to convey key messages effectively.
• Ability to proactively engage with patients and support others in delivering service excellence.
• Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team while maintaining professional and ethical boundaries.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using health information systems.
• In-depth knowledge of risk management, safety, and quality principles, with an understanding of the Registered Nurse's role in these areas.
• Recent post-registration experience in an acute care setting is essential.
